I never expect ambient music could be so deep and rich!!!
but what a ugly cover...burp! xD
This is one of my favourite CD's of all time. Absolutely fantastic. Saves me burning my copy to my PC. Thanks. Does anyone have Dreamfish 2, I beleive it exists but I have never seen a copy.
Keep up the great work.
EXCELLENT!!!!! There is SO MUCH old namlook that nobody knows about. Just Google the Fax label and see what comes up!
Excellent .... Hymn is one of my favorit tracks ever .
I also love what made Morris under the name 'Irresistible Force' .

One of my all-time favs too!!
Absolute classic
I am so happy this site exists !
This CD is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever composed. It's soothing hypnotic pace and texture resonated with me deeply in the years 1995 to 1998. I lost my only copy after travelling in Indonesia for a year and would like to get another one. I have distant fond memories of the special places I was in when I would listen to "Dreamfish". If I was stuck on a desert island for the rest of my life and I could only take ten CD's this would propably be my first choice. (Although on the right island such mellifluous sounds would not be as needed...)

This has been uploaded at just 128 kbps and is therefore useless. Many sites now use 256 or 320 kbps as standard. Anything less than 192 kbps is of no use at all in this day and age.
Sorry wrong album - the bit rate on this is fine.
Mixmaster Morris has never got the credit he deserves as one of the UK pioneers of electronica (ambient is just too narrow a definition) in the late eighties and early nineties...his work with Namlook and the Irresistible Force material still sounds as 'new' nearly twenty years later, as it did when it first came out...he was dropping Cluster and Harmonia into his sets at a time when everyone else seemed to have forgotten Kosmische music had ever existed...I met him a couple of times back in the early nineties, first at an underground gathering in South London featuring a lecture with Alexander & Ann Shulgin (authors of PIKHAL & TIKHAL) and the second time when he came up to Bradford, here in the UK to play at an event, I remember him charging us £600 for a DJ set which at the time we were stupid enough to pay! Anyway, great to see such a rare album available freely to anyone who unearths the secret stream of C20th electronica, infact checking out the posts on this blog, there are many releases which are part of this current.
if you like this try:(2000)From within(Richie Hawtin & Pete Namlook)-From Within I(M_nus rec.fw1cd)
